Testing Requirements

After finishing all 16 lesson modules, you will take a 30-question final exam. To pass and complete the course, you must score at least 70%.

There is no time limit, but you must pass the test within three attempts. If you fail the exam three times, you must purchase the course again and start from the beginning.

How long does the program take to complete?

The course contains approximately four hours of safety and compliance instruction.

Lessons combine text, video and interactive materials to cover major safety topics and best practices for working in a data center. The program concludes with a brief final exam.

What do I get when I finish?

You will receive a digital Certificate of Completion immediately after passing the final exam. You can download and print your certificate as many times as you like.

You will also be issued a unique credential number, which will be registered with the DCSC Credential Verification Portal. Employers can validate your certification status using your unique identification number.

How long is my certification valid?

Your certificate expires 36 months after the date of issue. You must refresh your training every three years to renew your certification.
