The 14-module course takes a minimum of 24-hours to complete, and you must finish the course within 365 days of purchase. Each module ends with a short quiz, and there is a 20-question final exam. You have an unlimited number of attempts to pass the module quizzes and final exam, which require a score of 70% or higher.
While this course satisfies the education portion of OSHA HAZWOPER training requirements, course graduates must also complete at least one day of field experience under the supervision of a trained and experienced supervisor. How Long Does HAZWOPER 24 Certification Last?
Your 24-hour HAZWOPER certification will remain valid for 12 months. You will need to complete an 8-hour HAZWOPER Refresher course each year to keep your certification. If you miss the deadline, your employer may require you to retake the 24-hour course.

OSHA requires employees, managers and supervisors who complete 24-hour HAZWOPER training to take an 8-hour HAZWOPER Refresher course each year to familiarize themselves with key policies and safe practices.
